The year 2017, by the internal aspect, has been named as the year of elections. A year that has witnessed the functional instability of institutions, the collapse of a government and the establishment of a new government, which brought into itself the political spectrum, known as the arm of war.

But, from the outside perspective, this year challenged one of the biggest values that had created Kosovo's citizenship with international allies.

The continued disregard for Allies' demands for ratification of the demarcation agreement with Montenegro, and especially efforts to abolish the Special Court by international diplomats themselves were described as actions that violated Kosovo's partnership and friendship with the United States and the allies of the European Union.

Problems With War crimes chargesThey began since 4 January, when French authorities banned Alliance for the Future of Kosovo leader and one of the former commanders of the Kosovo Liberation Army, Ramush Haradinaj. He was detained on the basis of a warrant issued by Serbia through INTERPOL on the war crimes charge.

Haradinaj was initially held in custody and was later released on bail by the French court in Colmar. However, his full release took place on April 27th, after the Court in Colmar rejected Serbia's request for extradition along with charges by Serbian war crimes authorities.

Back in PristinaHaradinaj, among other things, pledged that he would not allow Kosovo to ratify the border demarcation agreement with Montenegro, claiming that by means of it, Kosovo would lose 8 thousand hectares of land.

It was just the numerous controversy over the ratification or failure of the border demarcation agreement with Montenegro that led to the collapse of the prime minister's government, Isa Mustafa.

The procedure of the government's collapse passed through the vote on the no-confidence motion in the Assembly, where among those who voted the government's fall were the deputies of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, the party in the then ruling coalition.

To No-confidence motion Against the government, 78 MPs voted, against it voted 34, while abstained 3 deputies.
