The US Embassy in Pristina through a statement to the media has said Kosovo leaders are wrong when they say the initiative regarding the Special Court, undertaken in the Kosovo Assembly, will not harm Kosovo's international relations.
They're wrong. Any such repeated efforts would have profound negative consequences for Kosovo's European future and for its relationship with the United States. Also, violent threats are completely unacceptable, and clearly and unequivocally they must be rejected by the government. We are extremely desperate with those who would sacrifice the future of their state and the firm support of the United States in favour of their personal interests”, the statement said.
