Haradinaj and Zaev visited the “Vitminka Trade” Company

The prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, and Macedonia's prime minister, Zoran Zaev, have visited the “Vitminka Trade” Company.

Before those present, business representatives from Kosovo and Macedonia, Prime Minister Haradinaj said co-operation between Kosovo and Macedonia is very dimensional.

“Krahas political co-operation, in the regional and global plan, is also of great interest in economic co-operation, and it is you, businesspeople”, Prime Minister Haradinaj said, ordering this co-operation to deepen further.

The prime minister further said Kosovo and Macedonia have co-operation in many areas, which is appreciated, stressing that even though the trade balance is weak for Kosovo, because it is more imported than exported.

“Hopefully that in the future, if we activate coal mines, we can also export coal to Macedonia, by regulating the trade balance between the two countries”, Prime Minister Haradinaj said.

Macedonia's prime minister, Zoran Zaev, voiced confidence that co-operation between the two countries in trade exchange and in the development of businesses will develop in mutual interest and in the service of raising citizens' standards and opening new jobs. Prime Minister Zaev in this context has reiterated that the completion of the highway linking the two countries will advance even more economic co-operation between our two countries.

Rasim Merlacu, director of “Vitminka Trade”, expressed satisfaction with the visit the two prime ministers made to his company, which co-operates with the biggest producer in Macedonia. “Vitminka Prilep” since 1973. Our co-operation will deepen even more in 2018, with the joint project for the joint production of food products even in Kosovo”, he said, stressing the importance of the Pristina-Skopje Highway construction businesses.
