How was today's trial hearing of MPs for the tear in the Assembly?

Six witnesses, three of them deputies, a former deputy and two employees of the Kosovo Parliament administration, for more than 8 hours showed the court the tear gas drop in the Kosovo Assembly in October 2015.

MPs from the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Flora Brovinja, Blerta Deliu Kodra and Xhavit Haliti, as well as that of the Democratic League of Kosovo Nuredin Ibishi, witnessed their versions of gas drop at the Kosovo Assembly hearing before the court.

MPs, Flora Brovinja and Blerta Deliu-Kodra, besides witness status, are also parties damaged in the trial. While Flora Brovina said he does not seek financial compensation, Deliu-Codra said he will submit the property-juridic demand.

Since the opening of the session was again demanded the court's expulsion from the lawyer, Ahmet Ahmet Ahmeti, who defends Albulen Haxhiun, but after a consultation launched with Faton Tollal's lawyer's proposal, Haxhi Milaku, the accused and their defenders withdrew the proposal for exemption.

After they agreed to continue to try the case to the current judges, prosecutor Valdet Gashi again read the indictment, but the indictees' position did not change -- that all were acquitted.

Unlike the prosecutor who, in his opening address, presented his claims with which he intends to support the established indictment, the defendants' lawyers demanded that the acquittals be issued against their defendants.

Haxhi Milaku, MP Faton Topalli's lawyer, said in his opening remarks that the actions of gas drop in some way have legitimised the country's prime minister, Ramush Haradinaj, with his statement.

The release of MPs asked Donika Kadaj-Bujupi's attorney, Afrem Salihu, at the hearing, who said the evil that MPs have caused is much smaller than what has been spent on the country by hinting at agreements for the Serb community and the agreement on demarcation.

The maratonic hearing where they are charged are the deputies of the Vetevendosje Movement, Albin Kurti, Albulen Haxhiu, Donika Cadaj Buyjupi and Faton Topalli continued with testimony from MP Flora Brovina.

Brovina, a doctor by profession, told of health problems that had caused tear gas at the October 8, 2015, session.

I've operated on my heart in 2002 and have three seasons and that's why this smoke has caused me harm and I don't know how accurate, but I remember that I've been caught for a colleague”, Brovina said.

However, Brovina failed to identify the responsibility for the problems that were caused him. She said she saw Albin Kurt talking and then noticed a vehicle that smoked too much.

After hearing her testimony, MP Kurti also had questions about Brovina.

Was I wearing a mask on my face that day? It was a question that Kurt presented to Brovina while the response he received was “jo”.

Kurt then asked the witness if he had attended other gas sessions and asked for medical help, while the witness said that she had participated in certain sessions but had not asked for help when the gas was used.

This caused Kurti to ask the witness that perhaps the deterioration of her health was the process, not an act, and Brovina did not leave that question unanswered.

“Any deterioration of the air where the air is polluted, there is fog or something else, my condition gets worse and I keep this”, Brovina said.

Brovina said he had not believed that anyone would be able to use tear gas in a closed environment, while stressing that the Parliament was deprived of the opportunity to work as a result of these acts.

This response by Brovina preceded Kurt's next question, which asked the witness whether the job was deprived and the free word of MPs in the event the two disputed agreements were signed in Brussels during the time of Kosovo's san was summer vacation?

We've all been deprived, but the Assembly is the place where the discussion must take place”, Brovina said.

At the end of her testimony, Brovina expressed regret that in this trial, accused MPs are her colleagues, and some even mothers.

Brovina's testimony followed by her youngest colleague, but by the same party, Blerta Deliu Kodra.

Deliu-Codra in the testimony said he heard Albin Kurty say he should throw out 50 more of these and have to ride this place”.

This part of the Deliu-Codra statement said it only after prosecutor Valdet Gashi confronted her statement given to the prosecutor because in her testimony to the court, she first said she had seen Kurt throw gas, but had left without wondering who was saying.

Her contradiction, Deliu Kodra, explained by saying that the prosecutor's question had understood it, what she heard when she left the Parliament building, not the hall where the plenary sessions are held.

This statement was strongly opposed by Kurti, who said he would never have said such a terrible statement and that the word <x0cal” was even not part of his vocabulary.

Deliu Kodra was also asked about her profession before becoming an MP.

Have you played any role in acting the damaged side”, was one of the questions posed to you, but it was not allowed by the judge calling it "cinicic."

Less specific than his party colleague, Xhavit Haliti, was shown. He did not mention names of who has fired gas, he said it was a cause that the whole opposition has supported.

Similar to Haliti as well as the former delegation from the ranks of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Nuredin Ibishi, though he did not describe the individual actions of the accused, said they are not exempted from any of them having thrown gas.

Ibishi even said in his testimony that the then opposition was loud to former Prime Minister Mustafa for a very interesting reason.

I was one of those who raised their voices for many agreements, but also Albin Kurti and the then-oppressive opposition at the time of being Prime Minister Hashim Thaci measured those with their machiism who wanted to show the skill I can choose in other ways, have wanted to meet Hashim rather than cut off Isa because it's a little bit smaller physically and think to dominate her. They found the little Isa”, Ibishi said.

Ibishi, though he said there are different practices of opposition to the work in the Assembly, the practice of dropping gas is unacceptable.

The two witnesses of the Kosovo Parliament Administration, Hope Gosalci and Leonora Halimi had rough testimony. They both said they had seen gas, but they had not seen who had thrown it.

All of the trial's end, although attorneys Hedije Ademi and Afrim Salihu demanded that the detention measure against their defenders be suspended, Albin Kurti and Donika Qadaj Bujupi, their proposals were rejected.

The next session will be held on December 7th as the witnesses testify, Armend Zemaj, Bekim Haxhiu, Nasser Osmani and Kadri Wessel./Cashho. com
