Second grade in a Prizren school boycotts teaching because of teacher

Shukrie Krasniqi laments that Prizren's Municipal Education Directorate manipulated with the competition for the workplace as a teacher at the University and Landing School “Atmaja” in Atage in Prizren to favour it against its candidate.

As a candidate for the class teaching position, she says she had worked three months free of charge as a substitute in the position of a professor who had passed away.

However, when the competition for regular office was announced, Shukree Krasniqi had not even been put on the narrow list.

“Arsyet doesn't know what they are, the experience of working three months here that I've been working free of charge has been bypassed and shown an idiocy by excluding me from the list of interviews”, Krasniqi told KALLXO.com.

She relates that there were candidates on the narrow list for interviews who had no work experience.

<x) If it was done on the job experience, then on this list one candidate has been without work experience, while the three months I've been working on haven't counted as an experience even though the Education Directorate has been informed that I'm working at this school”, she added.

Furthermore, candidate Krasniqi casts doubt on the qualifications of the selected candidate by contesting her work experience.

“has presented a work experience 12 months in 1997-98 when the country was in wartime. She points out that she graduated and conducted two-year professional school and completed her studies in 2005. How can this work experience be counted when at the time she was only a student”, Shukrie Krasniqi asks.

On the other hand, director of this school Nexhat Gashi told KALLXO.com that he is facing a very difficult situation after the parents of this class have sought accounts from him for changing the teacher.

For me as a school manager, the situation is very uncomfortable because part of my parents are looking for transition papers so that students can carry and continue their schooling at other schools. The reason is that they have established a complete trust in the teacher who has replaced the teacher because her results have been very obvious”, Director Gashi said.

Director Gashi shows that the DKA in Prizren has not asked the management of this school at all and has put the lead in itself for this competition.

Contacted by KALLXO.com, the Prizren Education Directorate has failed to respond on these charges, arguing that director of this director, Zehadin Shemsdin, is not at work for health reasons.

The member of the Council of Parents of this school, Emrula Gashi, who is once the parent of one of the students of the class in question through an email at KALLXO.com, has clarified their concerns by reasoning the boycott they have been doing since December 11th.

The recruiting process of education workers has been forged and the selection procedures violated. Schoolchildren are being served teaching at the will of clans, with or without proper criteria, the education system is in crisis”, Emrula Gashi said.
