Luljeta Demolli, representative of human rights organisations, said this march marks Human Rights Day.
“We are a large number of organisations that are active and have under umbrella the protection of human rights”, she said.
At the same time, Hilmi Jashar said this is a special day after the universal value of human rights is given reference.
This day it made the union of all organisations more special. All categories where basic rights are denied should be treated equally. The most frequent cases of human rights denial are economic cases. We hope that very soon those cases will be addressed by the Government of Kosovo that we have sent”, Jashar said.
Asked how they feel that none of the government officials have participated in this march, Jashari said the purpose is to have everyone conscious and, in addition, work to secure any vital right”.
The ombudsman, along with the Nongovernmental Organisations in the Republic of Kosovo, has signed the Joint Declaration.
