Kadri Wessel started 2017 visiting Kosovo from one end to the other. He called it the hearing tour. He met people and took notes that their concerns were to choose when he became prime minister, even though his party had a decade at the top of the executive.
After he was tired of listening, he joined opposition parties to bring him down behind his back, the prime minister of the coalition partner, Isa Mustaf of the LDK.
Not because he was favouring the opposition, or that he suddenly became disillusioned with those who were co-governing, but with the goal of becoming the country's prime minister himself.
