Edi Rama blames LSI for flooding south

The figures that the Civil Emergency Committee reports on flood damage are dramatic. With just three days of rain, 3300 residences are underwater, 10,200 hectares of flooded land, and about 5,800 hectares of water presence, mainly in Fier and Vlora.

The figures are official and show that the most affected circuits are Fier and Vlora. The number of damaged schools is 56, while 28 are completely out of office.

596 families have been evacuated from their homes, and it is estimated that the number of displaced residents is over 1,500 people.

Edi Rama thinks the state's protection capacity from floods will improve in the future.

According to him, disagreements with the LSI in the past prevented cleaning up drains. The declaration was made during a visit to Berat, where they rejoiced in the operation of a drain that had saved the produce of the local inhabitants.
