According to official Kosovo Customs data, during 2017 the import of pyrotechnic means compared to past years has declined drastically. During this year's 12th month on Kosovo's territory, about 37,000 euros have been introduced.
If we compare import with last year, it's 50 percent smaller.
Adriatic Customs spokesman Stavileci has confirmed that there is a decline in the import of pyrotechnics, perhaps even of the introduction of the excise per kilogram.
In the last five years, there's a reduction in import even because of the 2 euro-by-pound excise. So far we have imports of 23 thousand pounds worth about 37 thousand euros. Until last year we had 74 thousand pounds worth over 100 thousand euros”, Stavileci indicated.
Meanwhile, according to the same data during 2015, the import of the pyrotechnics had begun to decline by importing in value of 387,173 euros.
During 2014, 780 thousand pounds [780 kg] of fireworks were imported, worth of monetary value being 1.8m euros.
