At the opening of the meeting before the government cabinet, KEK Managing Director Arben Djukaj reported in detail the latest electricity supply situation, for reaching agreement with residents of these areas, the process of shifting them, as well as for paying rent and other obligations stemming from the process.
In his report, Djukaj said that thanks to the Government's commitment and agreement with the people of Shippitula -- namely, Mirena neighbourhood -- from yesterday's afternoon landfall has begun. He said he's working with a block in A and B, and by 24:00 of today's day, 260 megawatts will be activated that ranges somewhere in 82 percent of local product consumption coverage. “I believe that this dynamic after January 10th is expected to activate all units”, Djukaj said.
Prime Minister Haradinaj said in terms of this report there are sensitive moments of power supply, and for that it needs everyone's commitment. The prime minister said that there should be a stabilisation of the electricity supply -- that is, no interruptions -- and no price increase.
At the second point of the agenda, Prime Minister Haradinaj asked the National Council for Communications Security to mobilise and meet urgently, to discuss the large number of communications accidents. In this case, the prime minister appealed to citizens for increased care during the drive.
Also discussed in today's meeting was the Prioritary Bills issued by the Progress Report. Prime Minister Haradinaj about these bills, which come out of the European Reforms Agency, said a number of them were prosecuted in the Assembly while a number of them are under way and therefore demanded from the Parliament the call of a session in which only these bills would be discussed. The “taking into account that in February the assessment of Kosovo's achievements would be very important that we are finished in order to be identified as the work done”, the prime minister said.

The prime minister on this occasion thanked the minister of finance for working on drafting the budget for 2018, the entire cabinet, as well as the deputies of the Kosovo Assembly, including those who took part in the vote. We begin the coming year stable, stable, and I am deeply convinced that with investments in energy and economic growth will be more promising. This year has been a year of energy, despite production difficulties, and the coming year would be good news as if it were Trepca's year, we could bring an investor to Trepca, which would change our economic map”, the prime minister said.
