When there are about six hours to change the weather, numerous citizens have gone to Pristina's main square to celebrate. They have chosen to use the good weather to go out and walk with their families.

From Tirana, he has come to Pristina to celebrate the change of year, Claudia Duro, whose last-year atmosphere in the Kosovo capital is enjoying him very much.

I find myself in Pristina, in fact the first time I come to Pristina for holiday weekends, it's an extraordinary atmosphere, people are very hospitable and I didn't actually know that. Pristina is very dear, I will celebrate I believe in the square we will be here by 12 p.m. then we will go to a bar to celebrate with friends”, she said, KP reports.

And Kosovars will continue the tradition of waiting with their families at home for a change of year.

Violeta Zatriqi said that on the second and third day they will go out to celebrate at some local Pristina.

“Tonight I will celebrate it in the family environment, in society and at home. The second night and the third we're going to a bar. I sincerely thank and commend the mayor of the Pristina municipality for this festive environment in our town, where we are enjoying ourselves, especially today's festive day and there's fun and there's excitement in the square, which means very well”, she said.

And it's always been said that Kosovars spend a lot of money, but that citizen Fitim Abrashi has said they made modest expenses for this holiday.

“As usual at home, with family, with children, not something else more interesting. We usually wait at home. Not any expense who knows how, modest expenses for an average Kosovo family”, he stressed.

And numerous locals in the capital have organised musical evenings with various singers to wait for the change of years.

Besides private establishments, the Pristina municipality has not anticipated any activity to mark the change of years.
