In honor of this holiday, Kosovo's Archbishop organises permanent activities. A solemn reception takes place at 6: 00 p.m., while at 11:30 the Christmas concert is held by the children of Pristina's family, and by 7:00 p.m., the solemn Mass begins.

Christians celebrate the birthday of Jesus Christ every year on December 25; Eastern churches celebrate on January 7 because of the Julian calendar.
