The ten criminals, who were tried to be drug dealers, murderers and robbers, were reportedly executed immediately at an execution site in Lufenng, southern China, reports Daily Mall.com, the Periscope broadcast.

This is the third time Chinese courts have decided to execute criminals in public since June of this year.
This is done in order to educate the public not to commit such crimes. However, Chinese media have called this event inhuman and offensive.

These forms of penality were once practiced in Europe, but in the early 20th century, they were banned because they failed to achieve the purpose of public education. Most European countries have even been banned from the death penalty, writes Periscope.
