The request for an emergency hearing has been made to abolish the Special Court. The alternative is the establishment of a local court for the treatment of all crimes. It is hypothetical if Thaci, Haradinaj's Veselin, stands behind this initiative. Our idea was to abolish the Special before it starts functioning and will continue until the Special Law is abolished.
This is MP. PDK's, Nat Hasani, the initiator for the Special Displacement.
GE: Your signature is the first on the MP's list to abolish the Special Court Law, will this initiative continue even after you return from vacation and what is the alternative if this court is abolished?
Nat Hasani: First the request was made for urgent meetings, the request was made by 43 deputies. The request has been made by 43 deputies aware of their signing, the request has been made with a specific goal of abolishing the Special Court Law and Prosecutor's Chambers. The alternative is the establishment of court in the country and the treatment of all war crimes cases. We have never given up on this, not when it was approved today or tomorrow, so we do not seek to be treated as a criminalised Army. We are not against the European Community, we are not against America that they have helped this war, so helping this war we want this war to be a liberation war and part of our defence, so changing the Law is required precisely to show that Serbia has committed genocide here and Serbia's crimes are unforgivable.
GE: Waiting for support from the VV, but in the last moment, did he not express the will to bring this to an end?
Nat Hasani: I don't know who Vetevendosje is, I know that the deputies who signed have asked for a hearing and I speak for the signatory deputies and for myself. We've been after the error session is the head of the Assembly that has not held the session.
GE: It's mentioned that after this initiative Thaci, Veselin and Haradinaj, do you have their support?
Nat Hasani: They're hypothetical. I've never asked for their support, I've asked the deputies along with the sign colleagues to give you what the country wants, time demands and opportunity is that as MPs we show before the process starts, and not during the processes, to show that we seek court, we are not against the courts, and we jointly condemn crime and war crimes, but we demand that this process be transparent and that it be in Kosovo for those who have participated, namely not to treat the Kosovo Liberation Army.
GE: We've seen a sharp reaction from foreign embassies, especially the American and British ambassador. One of them even said it was the darkest night since the post-war war for Kosovo. How do you comment?
Nat Hasani: They too need to consult us. They too protect their interests, but we too have our own interests. Our interest is the interest of international friends to fight crime and clean up these, but not just share. That's why our friends asked. Read Albert Ruhani's statement, says Kosovo needs and this is double court when we are behind the UNMIK court, we are behind the EULEX court, The Hague Tribunal, so treatment is not equal. We're not against it.
GE: What should be the reaction of Kosovo institutions to this reaction of foreign ambassadors. Was it a retreat of headship, of the President...?
Nat Hasani: I'm not dealing with the president or the speaker of Parliament or the prime minister and I'm showing that the statements of our friends are kind statements. They should be explained the judicial aspect of the cases, the crimes Serbia committed in Kosovo, we are not seeking to escape the crimes that have occurred in Kosovo, but we want Serbia to be part of the trials and sentences. Special Court Treated Alone The KLA, not Serbia and Serb crimes in Kosovo. I mean, we have over 13 thousand, 15,000 people killed by Albanians, who are from civilian Serbia, besides those who are martyrs and wounded, so over 20,000 people were killed in Kosovo. Therefore, we are seeking to address each case separately and collectively for Serbia's genocide. We have displaced people from Kosovo, we have over 150,000 homes burned, family economies destroyed... Therefore, who will be tried for these crimes committed by Serbia. I mean, with Serbia's apology, if there should be a Court, it should treat Serbia too for the genocide it has done in Kosovo.
GE: Is this initiative a bit late, since the PDK was the one who did it?
Nat Hasani: No, this court and this form is required to take place just before the process starts, the demand is before the court begins, to be shown that we too are able to improve the mistake, so we are asking international friends to improve the mistake that is part of handling courts to include not only the Kosovo Liberation Army. included Serbia for the crimes and genocide it has committed in Kosovo.
