His real purpose was disguised as a research lab for the prevention of Epidemi. “Unit 731” was set to 150 objects with a staff of 3,000 employees.

It included aerodrom, rail line, barracks, prisons, labs, surgical rooms, crematoriums, cinemas, bars and Shino temples, reports “Locking”, Transmission Periscope.
His inhuman barbarous experiments rival the infamous Nazi Auschwitz camp of Birkenau, even though the number of prisoners was smaller but operated for a much longer period. From 1936 to 1942, between 3,000 and 12,000 men, women and children were subjected to devilish experiments, before being slaughtered at “Unit 731”.
Shiro Ishii's extensive deadly experiments were under the protection of the Kanto Army High Command, Japanese secret police and local police collaborators.
His first labs were in Harbin, then Beyinhe, and later on at an extraordinary facility in Harbin neighbourhood known as Ping Fang.
Construction began in 1936 and was completed in 1939. Initially, the Togo was named, later changed to “shii Unit”, and was eventually named “Unit 731”; it was the world's largest biological and chemical war research centre in the world.
Each year hundreds of prisoners were food for devilish experiments, exposed to any known disease, ranging from anthrax to yellow fever, some were used for hypothermia experiments, others were forced to endure gangrene experiments, and others were forced to engage in sexual relations with sexually infected individuals with Venetian diseases. They were then monitored after the disease received the number of victims. ”
“Unit 731” split into eight divisions: Division 1: Research on bubonic wounds, cholera, anthrax, typhoid and tuberculosis using living human subjects. This prison was built to support 300 to 400 people.
Division 2: Research on biological weapons used in the field, particularly the production of equipment to spread germs and parasites.
“We follow this research,” he explained, “for dual medical emotion; as a scientist. . Investigation into the truth of natural science; and as a military person, to build a powerful military weapon against the enemy.” (Patrick Fong, Japan's Secret Biological War Unit, 2000. )
The incredible and cruel experiments were conducted by Japanese doctors who were recruited by Japan's leading academic institutions. Like their Nazi counterparts, Japan's doctors destroyed the heart of medicine.
They referred to prisoners as Martu (who were comparable to cutting down a tree).
The victims were mainly Chinese men, women, and children, including pregnant women and babies. Soviets, Australians and some American prisoners of war were also subjected to experiments designed to infect victims with fatal diseases, including plague, cholera, tuberculosis, typhoid, tetanus, antrax, typhoid, bleeding fever and dysentery./Periscopi/
