US Ambassador Ultimatum chief prosecutor: Bring corrupt politicians to prison

Ambassador Donald Lu held a meeting for about 30 minutes at the General Prosecutor's environments with Chief Prosecutor Arta Mark.

At this meeting, News 24 reports that Lu has asked Mark to encourage prosecutors to investigate all corrupt politicians to bring them to justice.

Lu is also taught that she has asked the chief prosecutor not to take a political side while providing US support for any case she wants to investigate.

The US ambassador has also expressed interest in the investigations under way for former Interior Minister Saimir Tahiri, making it clear to the chief prosecutor that this file must be reached to the end.
