A Russian woman has been extracted 152 metal objects from her stomach, including her nails. She had swallowed these things in the belief that I would improve the amount of iron in her organism.

The 74-year-old woman known as Nina, has been admitted to a hospital in southeast Russia to undergo Kirugic intervention, reports the Daily Mail, writes Periscope.

She had gone to the hospital complaining of a high fever, but the medical staff was gone when they discovered the stuff in her stomach through X-rays.

The surgeons have found in its stomach 152 metal tools, including long thefts, bolts, a door resis, and other irons, up to 15cm.

The woman had also swallowed a valuable silver collar.

The 74-year-old has told doctors she was anemic, so she has swallowed metal objects believing that the amount of iron in the organism will increase.

The medical staff has explained to the media that the woman had begun to swallow metal 14 years ago, yet her stomach and larynx have not suffered serious injuries, despite the size and quantity of swallowed metals.

Doctors have also said that her life is not at risk and that she is under constant medical escort to the hospital. /Periscopi/
