The CEC today announced the final results of the revote in Istog.
At a Central Election Commission conference, Valmir Elez announced the final results of the December 18th revote in Istog.
According to Elez, Hakki Rugova LDK's candidate for Istog chairman defeated the counterCandidat by AAK, Gani Dresaj.
Rugova won 10,033 votes, while Gani Dreshai 10,019.
The difference between winners and losers is only 14 votes.
139 ballots were invalid, 11 empty and 11 damaged.
Valmir Elesi said that from the moment the final result began to flow 24 hours of complaints to the Electoral Panel for Ances and Parashtre.
One result was the day the revote took place.
In the November 19th run-off, after counting on bail votes -- those in the mail and votes of persons with special needs -- Gani Dresaj won more votes than Hakki Rugova.
The LDK then complained to PZAP, claiming the result has been overturned in favour of Dresaj even with votes of dead persons.
PZAP then, but the Supreme Court also cancelled the runoff, setting the revote on December 18th.
