A 13-year-old Chinese minor has been arrested after he is accused of killing his mother and then he has beheaded, the BBC reports.

The boy had filmed the murder and sent it to his friends through a popular social network in China.

He had been arrested a few days later, after one of his friends showed him the video to his mother.

The incident occurred in the city of Wenxing in the province of Sichuan.

Local police have confirmed this case for the BBC, but have not provided more details, as the case is still being investigated.

The 13-year-old had killed his mother after a quarrel last Saturday, Radio Free Asia reports, calling local sources.

Then he had his head broken off and had put it in a bucket and had later thrown it into a ditch near his home.

It is also reported that the murder had not been revealed until this Wednesday, when one of his classmates had shown the video to his mother, who had immediately notified the police.

According to first information, the boy was arrested while at school.
