Mugabe is being held in his house since Wednesday since the military took control of the country.
The ruling Zanu Party - I will hold a meeting to decide if I rule out its founder and historical leader.
The military has intervened with these actions after Maguabe ruled out his deputy Emmerson Mnanggawa, in order to clear the way for his wife, Grace Maguabe, to take his place.
Mugabe has been leading with Zimbabwe since it was independent from Britain in 1980.
