The German and French embassies today will commemorate the victims and end of World War I.
This day is remembered on the occasion of signing the truce in Compiegne on November 11, 1918, that ended World War I wars.
On the occasion of the 99th anniversary of the ceasefire, the memorial event is held at the Orthodox cemetery near KFOR's central headquarters at camp <x0m>Film City” in Pristina.
The joint commemoration is an expression of German-French friendship and a symbol of the possibility of reconciliation in the Balkans.
