The close election result among candidates in the runoff elections in Pristina and the expected provisional vote count by the Central Election Commission (KQZ) has toughed rhetoric in two camps, in the “Movement” and in the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK).
LVV candidate for Pristina chairman Shpend Ahmeti, who saw bail, leads over 230 votes from LDK's Arba Abrashi, has written in his account at “Facebook” that the conditional votes will confirm their victory, but, according to him, political opponents are trying to disinfect slander and assault.
“We are focused on protecting every vote and protecting victory until the end. Thank you all for the support with which we did not allow crime to return to Pristina”, he wrote among other things.
While LDK's Arba Abrashi is also in his account at “Facebook” wrote that Pristina already has a new chairman and has charged LVV that on election day it has organised the transportation of citizens through NGOs to vote.
On the other hand, political analysts say the CEC should remove all dilemmas for transparency during the count of these crucial votes, especially in cases when the difference between candidates is too small, as in Pristina, in Prizren.
