VV for the run-off in Gjakova: We do not support this party in any way
The candidate of the Vetevendosje Movement for Chairman of the Gjakova municipality, Driton Caushi, in a proposal for the newspaper Blic has revealed details from the possible co-government agreement after the election for the runoff.
Caushi said Vetevendosje has competed in Gjakova, convinced that they are the best option for this city, but respect the citizens' stance.
” Vetevendosje movement has competed in Gjakova, believing it is the best option for the future governance of the town of Gjakova, however, the result has turned out differently, and we absolutely respect the attitude of citizens. ”, Chaushi said.
As for supporting any of the parties that will compete in the runoff, Caushi said Gjakova needs better governance, adding that the AAK's return to this municipality will not happen.
What we've said from the first day of the race for Gjakova is that Gjakova needs a better government, but what doesn't have to happen is the return of the Alliance's rule for the Future of Kosovo. ” he confirmed.
Asked about meetings with the AAK and the Alternative, he added that there were only meetings with Mimoza Kusari-Lila, since a meeting with the AAK was rejected.
We have had meetings with Mrs. Kusari-Lila. We have had an invitation for a meeting by the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, but we have not accepted it.”, he said.
Something concrete in the form of a deal, according to Chowsey don't have, but the position of Vetevendosje Movement is already clear.
We've met several times, there's nothing concrete, but our attitude is clear since the start of the race.”, he concluded.
Unlike the Gjakova municipality's first chair in the run-off elections, AAK and Alternatives will compete.
The AAK and candidate Ardian Gjini in the October 22nd elections received 39.88% of the vote, Alternative and candidate Mimoza Kusari-Lila 32.10%, while the third was ranked Driton Caushi from the Vetevendosje Movement with 12.87%. /Gazzeta Blic
