Azem Vlasi is expected to take part in Belgrade's strategic dialogue, which will be held on November 10th and 11th in the Metropolitan “Yugoslavia -- a lost chance or political illusion” to mark the 100th anniversary of the Declaration of Corfu.
Former Kosovo communist leader Azem Vlasi in a proposal for Tanjug has said Yugoslavia was an illusion, which has long lost its creation looking through constitutional changes and reforms, in search of a formule for survival, broadcast Indesksonline.
In this version, Vlasi says Kosovo should be a state, as according to him, Kosovo with Serbia without Yugoslavia would be an impossible mission.
“In this variant Kosovo must be a state, because Kosovo with Serbia, without Yugoslavia, would be an impossible mission. Yugoslavia has been constitutionalised since 1974, something like a <x1 minus the European Union” today. So there was more confederation than federation”, Vlads said.
Later, Vlase has praised today's possibility and need for co-operation among states from the former Yugoslav area.
