Sayfullo Saipov, 29, is also accused of providing materials in support of the so-called Islamic State.

US President Donald Trump wrote on Twitter that he must receive the death penalty. The charges brought against Saipov are federal, which means the Government can cancel the ban on the death penalty in New York.
