A Siberian tiger has attacked a zoo guard in Russia in front of visitors.

Tiger, called Typhoon, came out of the cage after her door was accidentally left open until they had sent her food, broadcast the index.

But her life was saved after shocked visitors shouted and threw stones toward the tiger until he left.

Some males even set up a table and chair from the nearby café, throwing it over the fence so that the guard could escape.
