Thaci pledges institutional support for victims of sexual violence

President Thaci has expressed his gratitude for the uneasiness of commitment for nearly two decades, on this issue as sensitive as even humanitarian, which deserves institutional attention.
I'm grateful for your persistence. Thanks to your commitment, institutional care has now begun”, President Thaci said.
While, Kosovo Centre for Reconstruction and Torture Survivors Executive Director Feride Rushiti stressed that civil society has been engaged all the time, and thanks to this commitment has managed to build the infrastructure needed to provide support to victims of sexual violence.
“We have built a more fair, more transparent, more creditable”, Rushiti said, speaking of the challenge of identifying victims and measures to support victims and their families.
President Thaci promised activists for the rights of victims of sexual violence that support of institutions will never be absent.
“You will have my personal and institutional support”, President Thaci said.
