The floor of a nightclub in Tenerife has collapsed and injured 22 people. The BBC writes that participants in the club fell through the basement floor of Dixco Pub at 2:30 locals on Sunday morning.
Some have suffered bone fractures, including broken legs.
The gay club is at a shopping mall in Playa de las Americas, a hot spot from the club south of the popular tourist island.
The wounded are said to be from a number of different countries, including France, Belgium and Romania.
After the crash of the floor, people inside fell into the basement from the height of around a level of”, the regional government said in a statement quoted by the news agency.
