Part of talks in Brussels including representatives of families of the unknown

Kosovo President Hashim Thaci has promised that part of the talks in Brussels as the main topic will be the issue of the found. Representatives of the Association for Unemployed Persons say that part of these talks will also have representatives of the families of missing persons. Bajram Cerkini, of the Association of the Ungenerated, says [...]

Bajram Cerkini, from the Association of the Un finders, says it has been his family's request that this issue be raised to a higher level. “After a request from family members we said that the question of people undiscovered” should be raised to a higher level, Cerkini told the newspaper “Zeri”.

According to him, the reality is that Kosovo has not had access and authorisation to work on this issue, but now has all powers in its hands. As for whether there will be a representative in this meeting, Cherkini has said he will. I believe that conversations will become a little more open and will be face-to-face with some family members. I can't say if it's going to be me or anyone else, but there's going to be family representatives as observers or in conversation that's something else, but together we're gonna be somebody else, he's done.

And Bajram Gecaj, from the LDK, says this is not the first time President Thaci promises such a promise, after he has replayed it for years. “The question of the found is an issue which will have to be resolved any day anyway and its importance will never fade. Serbia's will and the most powerful pressure of the international community is necessary if we really want to resolve this issue once and for all. The will of the only Kosovo side unfortunately will not bring us the right results”, Gecaj concluded.
