Submarine disappears with 44 people aboard

One submarine has lost contact with the Argentine fleet for more than 48 hours.

“Ania, with 44 crews, was located about 400 kilometers off the coast of Patagonia”, has declared the Argentinian navy. It's still not known who the submarine has lost touch. But it is believed that German-based ARA San Juan-typeTR-1700 had an electrical defect. Navy spokesman Enrice Balby told the newspaper La Nazio that the submarine was being launched from the Usswaia naval base at the base of Mar del Plata, its usual station, when “at one point was cut off of communications”.
