They have also expressed doubts about the quality of bread sold on brands. One of the furnaces located in “Adem Jashari” has been looted Wednesday night, the Zeri newspaper writes today.
Just a few days earlier, Vushtrri bakers had warned of raising the price of bread, reasoning that the price of flour on the market has increased. But all that has gone wrong since the Vushtrri Markets have begun selling bread at a much lower price than the price of bread in ovens, only 15 cents.
Facing this problem, the Vushtrrian bakers have met with Vushtrria Mayor Bajram Mulaku and Inspection Director Betim Kolari, who have talked about the situation that might cost them even at the closure of their ovens.
In fact, this possibility has been warned by bakers themselves during their meeting with Mulak and Kolari in the event that the municipality does not take measures to harmonise bread prices in the municipality of Vushtrri.
The Vushtrria suppliers expressed concern about bringing bread to the Vushtrri supermarkets from various furnaces, which they say offer cheaper bread than local ovens, damaging them economically.
