Selmanaj asks Thaci: What Ruci contribution has for the medal for Independence Freedom

LDK MP in the Kosovo Assembly Driton Selmanaj, who is known for his critical language to the country's president, Hashim Thaci, has rejected his decision to honour with medals for the Freedom of Independence, the head of Albania's Parliament, Gramoz Ruci.

His opposition, Selmanaj, has expressed it with a post on his Facebook account.

“Hashim Thaci decorated Gramoz Ruchin with the medal for Freedom and Independence. Do you know who's telling us what Gramoz Rucit's contribution to Kosovo's freedom and independence is? Don't try to find anything. It's been written by Selmanaj, Time.net.

Today, after meeting with Kosovo Parliament Speaker Kadri Veselini, chairman of Albania's Parliament, Gramoz Ruci, has been hosted at the meeting by Kosovo President Hashim Thaci.

Ruci has been decorated by President Thaci with the medal for Freedom and Independence. Kosovo's president said this award is given to Ruci for the contribution made to Kosovo's freedom and independence.

Albania's Parliament Speaker has expressed surprise at this decoration given by the state of Kosovo on his first visit as Parliament Speaker.

This is the first decoration I receive from the president of Kosovo, I am very grateful. The contribution to Kosovo's freedom does not belong to any individual, not to me, and despite all ... the Albanian political spectrum, all Albanian MPs has been the dream of Kosovo independence becoming a reality. So this assessment that comes to me today I attribute to and dedicate it to my fellow countrymen in Albania, regardless of which political spectrum belongs to”, Ruci said.
