Pristina municipality urged to abolish property sharing decision for Serbian Orthodox Church

The University of Pristina Steering Council “hasan Pristina” and the Student Parliament have turned to the Municipal Assembly of Pristina in a request to re-vote the decision of the former Executive Council of the Pristina municipality, dated 26.9.1990, with which, according to them, has been illegally separated from the university space for the construction of the Serbian Orthodox Church.
Through a media communique, the Steering Council UPP and the Student Parliament have stressed that abolishing this decision would pave the way for legal solution to the problem and would enable the return of property to use the UPI, Koha Ditore writes today.
Also, it has become known that the Steering Council of The UP's has formed a separate working group to follow this issue on legal grounds until the final return of this property to the use of this institution.
