In line with promises made yesterday at the meeting with milk producers, Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has announced actions the Government of Kosovo will take to provide customs facilities for milk producers in the Republic of Kosovo.
“We are committed to protecting the interests of all local producers and processors, and in the function of this commitment from January 1st of next year, producers and farmers will be released from customs and excises for equipment and machinery used in the milk production sector”, Prime Minister Haradinaj said at a series of meetings with representatives of this sector, led by Besim Red.
At the same time, all opportunities for donations will be seen, as well as review government subsidies, for them to benefit the sector as well.
At today's meeting the prime minister held with the delegation of milk producers was Finance Minister Bedri Hamza and Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development Minister Nenad Ricalo.
