Agreement was signed in Prizren where the head of PDK, Kadri Veselini and KDTP chairman Mahir Jagcilar, reports the PDK.
The “coalition, reached today between the Democratic Party of Kosovo and the Turkish Democratic Party of Kosovo (KDTP), for co-governance in the next four years in Prizren, is another step towards sealing the victory on November 19th. With this agreement, the political mosaic of this beautiful city is closing. Shacir Totaj will be the chairman of all Prizren municipality citizens, regardless of political parties and ethnic affiliation”, the head of the municipality has said Kadri Wessel's PDK.
While, candidate The PDK for mayor of Prizren, Shacir Totaj, said the agreement with the Turkish party KDTP in Prizren is demonstrating his approach as Prizren's next chairman to work with everyone and for all, since Prizren is a multicultural and synonymous city of co-existence among communities.
On the other hand, KDTP leader Mahir Jagcilar said the coalition with the PDK is traditional and will continue for the benefit of all Prizren citizens.
Now, in the run-off race, The PDK in Prizren has reached a coalition with representatives of all communities, to include in future governance all representatives of communities living in Prizren.
