The senior official for Russia and the Western Balkans from the Department of Public Diplomacy in NATO, Robert Psztzzel, praised today that the region is moving in the right direction, as all countries want to become members of the European Union.
He said NATO does not favour any country at the expense of others, and has added that European integration should bring benefits to all, the Klan Kosova broadcasts.
For us, Psel says, it is very important what is happening in the Western Balkans as far as European security and integration are concerned, because according to him, “cannot be imagined that the region is out of the general stream”.
“The EU is the desired goal of all in the region. NATO for some, but no one is disfellowshipped, we want everyone to take advantage of it”, Psel said, and reminded that the organisation is leading the policy of “doors open”, which has confirmed the case of Montenegro that became its member.
He stressed that NATO has a positive agenda for the Western Balkans and that there are no <x0 planes and secret ideas.
