Ministry of Agriculture wanted to let out the milkworkers

The Agriculture Ministry of Forestry and rural Development has left milk associations out of working groups.

For this reason, representatives of associations and farmers have protested in front of the ministry's doors, KTV reports.

After their insistence, they have been admitted to the meeting of this ministry's processing group.

After the meeting, Ramadan Memaj said he has been part of this group for 5 years now, but this time he was not given the reason for his expulsion.

We agreed to send the names of representatives of associations to these working groups and it's still left for tomorrow during the day to deliver these names that will represent us”.

Milk producers say they have identified some problems that continue to interfere with the development of this sector and by having their representatives in the group aim to solve problems.

Our contribution is for farmers to talk about themselves rather than anyone else, some experts who do not belong to the sector are called. We are concerned with those people who participate in these working groups and are not farmers, and we insisted that farmers there be themselves”, Bold Red from the Association of Kosovo Milky Farmers.

Director of management authority at the agriculture ministry, Shqipe Dema, said this concern occurred after the ministry has not been aware of the existence of the two associations in question. However, their application for representation in the processing group has been approved and will be invited to meetings from now on.
