Decanates and Rectorates have made numerous demands for increasing the number of referenda in academic entities, but this has not allowed the Ministry of Finance, failing to share the additional budget for the engagement of new workers in the UP.
Waide Kciku-Hoja is the only official responsible for students at the master and doctorate at the Faculty of Philology at Pristina University. It has under management over a thousand students, in nine master's and three programs.
Although an official is responsible for only 500 students with university regulations, Veidya does the jobs as well as for two other references.
She estimates that this is a burden because she often works overtime or even on weekends, only to be responsible for working out her jobs to the students.
“... actually to reach cover-up not to say 100 percent, that no human can ever give the maximum of the necessary work, we work after working hours and at the end of weeks depending on the intensity of the work on demands in the set terms, such as recording semesters, testing exams, competitions...”, she said.
At the Philological faculty, studies follow through on basic studies of about 3 thousand students, until, at master and doctorate over 1,000, only 4 referrals are cared for, and under the laws on university education, there would be eight officials. On this matter in this academic unit, there are numerous requests in the reactors.
Lindita Sejdiu-Rugova, Dean of the Faculty of Philology, said that “ ... this year we have received only a new position of reference, but this year we will again face such troubles because during the academic year a report will be retired, then senior class official and two bibliotechtics...”
Pristina University has made numerous demands on increasing the number of referenda through the academic entity, but that has not enabled the Ministry of Finance by not sharing the additional budget for the engagement of new workers in the UP.
