Kurteshi: Decision to arrest MPs is illegal, we seek their release

Vetevendosje MP Sami Kurteshi, today through a media conference, has said Judge Becir Kaluldra has committed legal violations as he issued arrest warrants for MPs, Albin Kurtin, Albulen Haxhiun and Donika Kadaj-Bujupi. This was after Vetevendosje on November 22nd of this year had applied to the Pristina Foundation Court to expel the body [...]
That was after Vetevendosje on 22 November of this year had applied to the Pristina Foundation Court to rule out the court in the case of MPs accused of tear gas.
This month's” 22nd, our deputies charged with tear gas have made a request for exemption from the court in Pristina's Constitutional Court, on the issue of our deputies, and this exception is especially with Judge Becir Kaluldra. There are doubts based on this judge's impartiality to MPs because the same is committed to the case of four convicted activists of Vetevendosje, Kurteshi has said, the Periscopi broadcast.
Kurteshi says that they have objective facts and arguments that prove that this jury cannot be impartial in this case.
The request was submitted in 22, which we have not yet received. Kellodra on 23 has issued the warrant for our deputies, even though it was the duty of the head of the Pristina Foundation Court to announce the judge himself. Kalundra has had no legal right to make any decision without receiving an answer, MP Kurteshi stressed.
According to him, such action constitutes a criminal offence that should be prosecuted for issuing a warrant.
We consider that the decision on arrest is contrary to the law, so we seek immediate release from the detention of our deputies and criminal action against Judge Kaluldraı has added Kurteshi. /Periscopi/
