Members of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, in support of the US Embassy in Pristina, have begun a working visit to Washington DC and New York.
The delegation of members of the Prosecutorial Council, led by leader Blerim Isufaj, have held meetings at the Office of Professional Responsibility, Public Integrity Sector, Bureau of Statistics of Justice, Policy and Legislation, and the Supreme Court in Washington DC.
During these meetings, significant experiences have been exchanged which are expected to have a positive impact on the effectiveness and efficiency of the work of the Council and the prosecutorial system in general. Also promised is continued co-operation and support for the work of Kosovo's prosecutorial system, even in the future.
The next few days, the visiting programme will continue in New York, where there will be meetings at the FBI, issues related to public corruption, seizure and sequencing of property, as well as terrorism issues.
