Kosovo government allocates 290m euros for the families of convicts in the case of “Koumanova”

The Kosovo government has allocated financial means worth 219,000 euros for coverage of expenses for the families of convicts in the case of “Kumanovo”. Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj said each family would receive 10,000 euros. The Skopje Criminal Court sentenced 33 members of the group [...] to 746 years in prison.

The Kosovo government has allocated financial means worth 219,000 euros for coverage of expenses for the families of convicts in the case of “Kumanovo”.

Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj said each family would receive 10,000 euros.

The Skopje Criminal Court sentenced 33 members of the Kumanovo group to 746 years in prison. 7 life sentences, 13 people were sentenced to 40 years in prison, 6 persons 20 years in prison, one of the accused was sentenced to 18 years, two to 14 years, and two to 13 years. In the absence of evidence, four people were acquitted of all charges. Life sentences were condemned: Andy Krasniqi-Malisheva, Deme Shehu, Fadil Fejzullahu, Nasuf Zeqiri, Valdet Zekaj, Beg Bajra and Fejzula Rushovski

Sami Ukshini, known as Commander Sokoli, was sentenced to 40 years in prison. As with so many years in prison were Esat Caffegolli, Adrian Bujar, Shefqet Hallaqi, Enver Hoxha-Clain, Bajram Elshani, Nedmedin Lika, Rufki Dogani, Betim Kabashi, Lirim Krasniqi, Sevdal Miftari, Fatmir Recica and Gail Sefaj

In 18 years, Ragmi Latifi was sentenced, while Irfan Lutfi and Saduddin Abdullah were sentenced to 14 years in prison. For 13 years, Arsim Bajrami and Elham Arifi were sentenced. As for 12 years, Musa Pajazit and Abib Alimi were sentenced.
