This news made headlines in Kosovo media as well, but such a thing denied the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Government of Kosovo, writes Indexline.
If such a thing has really happened, for what Dacic published the withdrawal document, analysts say the Kosovo diplomacy is guilty.
University professor Mazbul Baraliu has said in a pronomination for Indexline that this should be seen as negative development for the country's image.
“If such a thing has happened, it is a negative, extremely harmful development for Kosovo because it speaks of contrasting trends with positive ones for new recognition and consolidation of the state of Kosovo until membership in the United Nations Organisation”, Baraliu has said.
According to him, it is possible to be the way it is reported, even though the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is opposing something like this and showing that Serbs are working.
This speaks of extreme diplomatic neglect and inaction and the flawed work of our institutions, especially the executive, the current government, the previous ones and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, because it is a negative sign and signal that Serbia is giving the world that we are unable to consolidate the state, keep it, and much less advance the process of recognition to membership at UN”, Baraliu added.
He has stressed that if what they are saying is true in Belgrade officials who, according to him, sometimes know how to propagan and speak falsely, it would have to be a first alarm for diplomacy and for Kosovo institutions to rise from sleep, from the hibernation that is definitely dealing with their interests and is significantly neglecting the process of recognising Kosovo by various states.
The blame at our institutions for the withdrawal of the recognition of independence” from Suriname has even thrown analyst Imer Mushkolaj.
He has told Indexline that diplomacy has to work harder and establish good relations with other states.
“With states that have recognised Kosovo must cultivate diplomatic relations. It is not enough for Kosovo to recognise any state, but Pristina must keep relations in different forms. For preventing similar cases, Kosovo diplomacy must work more”, Mushkolaj has said further.
