US call to Kosovo

This meeting discussed the assistance the US has provided and continues to provide for Kosovo, especially for law enforcement institutions in the country.

At this meeting, Sefaj asked the US representative for continued support in strengthening the rule and law, especially in the membership of our institutions in international police organisations.

American official Kathryn Bondy stressed that it is very important to engage Kosovo institutions in fighting organised crime, corruption and fighting terrorism.

We remember that fighting organised crime is one of two EU conditions for Kosovo visa liberalisation.
