Residents of the Moleqan village of Malisheva, who are mainly involved in construction, KEDS has greatly facilitated jobs after the recent investments they have made in this area.
Sabanaj, Sejdiu and Selmanaj neighbourhoods have clearly felt these investments. In all, there are 108 families in the village who will adopt these investments.
Besides residents, the head of the village, Ismet Kryeziu, is very pleased with the work of KED.
“As a village, we are satisfied with the work of KED that has been done here. The company has imposed two new trafos and old cables and pillars have been removed since 1970. With that, there has also been an ever - acceptable danger. But we also need increased energy capacities, with the growth of the population in the village, that's why we are in talks with KED officials”, he said.
During the implementation of this project, KEDS in the village has introduced two new trafos, one with 400k capacity VA and the other with capacity of 250kVA. In addition, 79 medium-tensity and 16 other low-tension pillars have been placed. The project has also become the distribution of 3.2km of the low - blood pressure network and 1.2km of the medium - tension network.
Even Fikret Kryeziu, the village resident, is enjoying these investments and thanking KEDS for the long run-off risk.
“The danger is now far away and the power pressure has stabilised”, Kryeziu said.
KEDS will continue to extend investments across Kosovo's entire territory, giving priority to settlements that are in a more serious energy situation.
