Former Kosovo President Atifete Jahjaga has met during her visit to the US with former US President Bill Clinton.
Former president of the United States, Jahjaga has named my <x0 enemy and all Albanians”.
“President Clinton I thanked for the unconditional and constant support he and his family made to our country”, wrote the former president in a post in her account in “Facebook”
Our friendship with the Clinton family is more than friendship among nations, it's the friendship of people who share the ideals of freedom. We will never forget this, and we will be eternally grateful”, wrote Atifete Jahjaga.
Otherwise, Bill Clinton was president of the United States at the time of Kosovo's liberation.
He has been the biggest supporter of air strikes against Serbian forces that were committing serious crimes against Kosovo's Albanian civilian population and the departure of Serb forces and administration in 1999.
In his honor, many streets and boulevards of Kosovo cities are named after his name.
