Ismail Kadare meets with Behgjet Pacolli, surprises him.

So said the most prominent contemporary Albanian writer, nobel” for literature, Mr Ismail Kadare, during a very friendly reception he made at his home in Paris, First Deputy Prime Minister and once Kosovo Foreign Minister Mr. Behgjet Pacolli, along with his wife.

Asked how he views the fact that he has chosen France, as one of the first places to visit him, our writer, Ismail Kadare, said: “I highly appreciate that fact. Mr. Pacolli is contributing to bring him closer to Europe, because Albanians are European, are the natural part of Europe”, Kadare said.

Following the conversation, Foreign Minister Pacolli has thanked writer Kadare for his precious contribution to Kosovo in particular.

Kadare has regarded as very important, which Kosovo Chief diplomat Pacolli has chosen exactly France as one of the first places to visit under his diplomatic tour and has positively named his arrival at the top of Kosovo diplomacy.

In this regard, he also praised the natural ties of Kosovo and the Albanian nation with France.
