The chairman of the LDK branch in Rahovec, Avdullah Hoti, has told the newspaper Blic that the LDK branch's position in this municipality is clear, not a coalition with parties competing in this municipality.
The position of the LDK branch in Rahovec is clear is given two weeks ago and we don't enter a coalition with anyone for not competing in this municipality. We'll be neutral with this case. The LDK in Rahovec will remain in opposition for whatever price it wants, Hoti told Blic newspaper.
On the other hand, Rahovec's presidential candidate from the PDK ranks, Idriz Vehapi, has confirmed there have been meetings with the LDK, but says no agreement has been reached.
The LDK's “position is clear and they want to remain neutral. We have been open to all political subjects but that so far there has been nothing”, Vehapi said, adding that other meetings with parties that are not in the runoff will continue.
