The Finance Ministry remains committed to close co-operation with the American Economic Ode in Kosovo, with the goal of advancing further legislation and policies that would affect facilitating doing business.
So said Finance Minister Bedri Hamza during a meeting with American Economic Ode Executive Director Arian Zeka.
Minister Hamza thanked the American Oda for its constructive contribution in terms of advancing legislation and offered the ministry's readiness he heads to address the recommendations of this organisation in the future.
Hamza also spoke of the Finance Ministry's plans aimed at establishing the performance of revenues through combating informal economy, with the aim of eliminating non-competitive competition for businesses that are regular taxpayers, and also plans for legislative changes during 2018.
For his part, the Executive Director of the American Ode Aryan Zeka thanked the Ministry of Finance for continuing fiscal reforms, through the adoption of the decision to free from the customs duties of raw materials, which has been the current requirement of the American Ode Manufacturers' Committee.
