The Office of the Prime Minister and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) are launching the “Report of Oppressive and Responding Facts: Interviews with returning foreign fighters and their families at the Swiss Diamond Hotel first at 2:00.
The UNDP ordered this independent report in order to better understand the driving and sneering factors that encourage Kosovars to join foreign terrorist groups and support local and international institutions in developing policies and better programmes aimed at preventing violent extremism, as well as rehabilitation and reintegration of returning foreign fighters.
Those attending the event will address Ramush Haradinaj, Kosovo Prime Minister Greg Delawayi, Ambassador of the United States of America to Kosovo, and UNDP Permanent Deputy Representative Alessandra Roccalovo. The report's presentation and hearing of questions and answers will follow.
