“Once again I declare: There is nothing more important than the survival of our country. We must stop terrorist organisations that feed, train and arm themselves outside our borders, at the cost of life and blood of our soldiers. It is our right to kill terrorists wherever they are,” said Erdogan at a rally in the city of Manisa, reports “Hurriyet Daily Nesa”, the Periscope broadcast.

The eight Turkish troops were killed on November 2nd in the southeastern province of Hakkari, trying to stop the infiltrate of PKK militants from northern Iraq to Turkey, while a police officer was shot dead during an operation in the southeastern province of Diyarbakir on the same day.
In response, the Turkish military launched a massive operation along the Iraqi border, in which it killed 55 PKK militants.
